Extensive studies have been performed in New Zealand and the USA on the effect of Floating Treatment Wetlands with heavy metals.The results have been consistently astounding proving an ability to totally remove heavy metals both in the TSS and in the colloidal faction.

Plants also uptake a large amount of heavy metal which is transported into the cellular structure and is removed through our regular harvesting programme.
