Bream Tail

Bream Tail is a high end coastal subdivision. To gain resource consents in an area regarded as significant in environmental terms, large areas of plantings were required to mitigate development.

The development is situated on the east coast directly south of Bream Bay to Mangawhai Heads. The majority of the plants were planted into the huge coastal escarpments. The environmental pressures in these types of situations are extreme. The location of Kauri Park Nurseries and the open and unprotected growing areas, produce a very hardy plant that is hardened to most environments that the plants may have to establish into. This is a very important aspect in producing New Zealand Natives.
