‘Quality Product' is the main portion of Kauri Parks' research and development programme.

 The highest quality plant is what the customer deserves. Quality is #1. Trained staff are constantly monitoring the health of the various crops. The root zone is equally vital to health as the foliage. Fertiliser is is monitored and can be adjusted in weather extremities to ensure the plant has optimum growing conditions. The nursery is very exposed to various weather conditions, generating strong, hardy plants and consequently the plants at Kauri Park are extremely healthy. Minimal usage of fungicides is needed as the plant has high health levels and can tolorate disease pressures. Quality grown plants have a far greater advantage in survival and success.
