Floating Treatment Wetland (FTW)

Treatment ponds and lagoons are a fantastic asset, why decommission them for expensive, energy consuming Treatment Plants?

Floating Treatment Wetlands process technology has been introduced into Australasia to give local authorities and industries the option to increase their existing treatment capacity by up to Twenty times, by retrofitting their investment and at the same time, retaining minimal operating and maintenance costs.

Originating in the United States, Floating Treatment Wetlands process technology has benn developed by  biological and waste water scientists from NIWA (New Zealand Water and Atmosphere) and Kauri Park Ltd. Over the past Six years the technology has  progressed to the stage where it is now widely implemented over a broad range of differing aquatic applications throughout the world.

Having achieved excellent results Throughout this stringent testing regime Kauri Park Ltd directed their attention towards the area of industrial and municipal waste water treatment.

This technology enables pond based systems to compete performance-wise with high-rate options at lower capital cost and much lower operating costs.
